really?  are you sure it’s the antis who make fandom spaces unsafe?  

what about the people who choose to produce harmful content that sexualizes and romanticizes mental illnesses, pedophilia, abuse, etc?  

what about the people who target minors with hate, and complain when survivors tell them that the ship or content they made makes them uncomfortable?

what about the people who refuse that what they ship is problematic and makes others uncomfortable, and when this is pointed out, they say that they’re being harassed?

no, antis don’t make fandoms spaces unsafe.  it’s the anti-antis, and anti-ship hate blogs, or whatever else the disgusting apologists call themselves. 

(and if you send death threats, anti or not, go fuck yourself.  sending death threats is not the way to prove your point.  don’t be an asshole just for the sake of being one.)

Antis made a discord group chat which they used to directly harass minors and state that they wanted them dead.
Antis are the ones who herd round in groups at cons and yell at artists and cosplayers.
Antis were the ones who cooked cookies with needles in them in order to literally murder someone over fiction.
Antis send people rape/suicide threats constantly and are now using the code “pee your pants” as a new way to say it instead of taking a look at themselves and realising their behaviour is toxic.
Antis are the ones who threaten cast members because those cast members tell them to take a hard look at the facts.
Antis are why my friends are afraid to post.
Antis tell people that their coping methods don’t count.
Antis are the ones deciding that they’ll isolate, target and bully users whether they have trauma, anxiety, etc the list goes on.
Antis believe everyone should stop creating something problematic because they don’t want to take the responsibility and learn the steps to avoid their trigger. – blocking – scrolling – turn off your device –
Antis write out lists of users which they state is for their mutuals to block but don’t consider the fact that their precious mutuals might instead send those users death threats.
Antis refuse to consider anything other than their own logic, it’s rare to find an anti who’ll listen to your side of the conversation.
even when the facts are staring them in the face.
Antis, most of the time teenagers or 20 year olds yelling at a 13 year old for shipping something they consider ‘nasty’, ‘gross’, ‘ew’.

So maybe it’s not just antis who make fandom spaces unsafe, but they sure do take a big part in it, don’t try and ignore that.
