When I say that Israelis steal Palestinian homes with the support of the IDF, I mean it as literally as possible.

An Israeli settler can go up to a Palestinian home, decide they like it, and begin the process of claiming it as their “God-given home”, all with the support and backing of the Israeli Defense Forces, who assist in removing the legal Palestinian owners from the house and securing it for an Israeli to live in.

This happens throughout Palestine, but is prevalent throughout Hebron thanks to a practice that started in the area not long after the Israeli government installed metal detectors for “security reasons”.

As I’ve said in a previous post – metal detectors aren’t about security, but are about the Israeli government herding and controlling the Palestinian people and allowing for this sort of terrorism to occur. The metal detectors serve as a foot in the door for them.

These barbaric practices are funded by the U.S. government, who send $10 million tax-dollars to Israel every day and continuously defend them around the world.

These Israeli home takeovers are commonplace and supported by the government, with Prime Minister Netanyahu personally granting these settlers the green light to remain in this home.

This is why we fight as Palestinians against Israel’s occupation, control, and settlements.
