Today Donald Trump tweeted that transgender people will no longer be allowed to serve in the US military in any capacity. As far as I am aware, it remains to be seen how this will be implemented. I know several trans veterans and it is not surprising to see that trans people serve in the military at a higher rate than the general population. So, this will potentially impact many of the people in our community.
