Now I know people say that King Dice’s song sounds like Louie Armstrong but design wise he looks to be based off of the famous jazz band leader, Cab Calloway.

Calloway’s most famous song is Minnie the Moocher, which was also featured in a classic Betty Boop cartoon of the same name. Which aired in the 1930’s.

I’m surprised no one caught this at all.

Cab Calloway makes the most sense because he worked with the Fleischer brothers so much in their cartoons, and Cuphead draws the most influence from them.
