Hachiko has been reunited with his owner, Hidesaburo Ueno, in a new statue that can be seen at the University of Tokyo, where Ueno was a professor of agricultural engineering. You can read more in this article, as well as this one.

Instead of a third “dog shrine” post for the year of the dog, here’s a reminder that Hachiko has been reunited with his owner. Dog shrines to continue tomorrow.
