I am starting to notice a shift from “we millenials need to remember how shitty it feels for older generations to act like we’re clueless” to “ugh man gen z really is a bunch of dipshits.”

it’s almost like the “cycle of generational conflict” is actually just a constant, deeply rooted prejudice against young people woven throughout our society, and millennials are getting to the point where they’re aging out of being the victims of it and starting to become the perpetrators, and a disturbing number of them are enjoying it.
im sorry i think there is a difference between “millennials being shit on by older generations cause the job market is shit and they think we’re lazy cause we cant get a job” and “oh god there are so many reports of gen z kids literally eatin a soap pods that can kill them for youtube likes”
Maybe, but even so… help them? Educate them? Don’t belittle them, that achieves nothing and only creates the same conflicting atmosphere that there has been between milennials and older generations.
