I wasn’t actually gonna write this, but here I am. Literally all of us tune into “Pop Team Epic” because its an incredibly strange, borderline avant-garde, comedy. And because of how strange it is I think a lot of people see the moments of Popuko and Pipimi saying they love each other or being affectionate as just the show being weird. Pointing out these moments are two girls being in love doesn’t take away from the joke, if anything it gives them more charm. But I’ve still seen people go “no no they’re friends” like its taking something away or trying to make the show about ships. Dude, they’re gay. Admitting it isn’t gonna change or ruin anything about the show.
