Since the story is told from McCree’s point of view years after it happened, maybe he remembers it wrong? Or maybe McCree was the one who shot the guy, but Gabriel took the fall to protect McCree?
But that was the twist??? Gabriel slowly changing ideals which possibly led him to join Talon? People say they wanna do things that they they know they can’t all the time. McCree says he wants to shoot, Gabriel says no, McCree goes “ya ya i know but that doesn’t mean i don’t feel like doing it”, Gabriel does it anyway, “Hey that isn’t what was agreed upon. It was what i wanted to do but that will get us in trouble here with an army and back in ovw” Cause McCree *does* have sense
