Shockingly, people who are likely to have actually had the term used as a slur against them aren’t fans of it being used to describe them.

This headline is misleading because in the article it states that only 60% of the people polled didn’t think the term was appropriate. Only 7% replied that they prefer it, so that means there was a 3rd “don’t care” option that they automatically lumped in with the people that don’t like it. Plus the fact that only 200 people were actually polled for this on a literal fucking twitter poll
