I’m… really not the kind of person to do this, but after dealing with gender dysphoria and depression surrounding it, I can’t go any longer without getting testosterone treatments.
My name’s Jack, I’m a Latino trans man and I’m short on money right now. I DO have a job, but all my money currently goes into paying for bills and helping my parents with their expenses. My mother is out of a job for the summer, she’s a school bus driver that works for the state but opted out of summer school pay because my grandmother is in early stages of Alzheimer’s and has dementia. I help pay for her heart, diabetes, and several other related medications.
Below, is the pricing for the nearest trans health doctor that I could find. (My insurance doesn’t cover ANY of this.)
Right now about $500 is what I need. I can pay off the smaller amounts but the first payment is way too much for me to pay for right now. I know I could wait until my mother goes back to her job, but honestly for the sake of my well being I really need to get prescriptions for testosterone.
