What’s your most unpopular video game opinion? Go!

Videogame fanatics want videogames to be considered art but don’t want their precious medium to go through many scopes of social criticism like most forms of art.

It’s true and you should say it!

Pre-rendered scenery/fixed camera angles are still a viable approach for more static genres like point and click games, as they affords precious artistic control over dramatic camera angles and what the player is allowed to see, and massively cuts down costs on anything that would be just filler scenery. Additionally, the jump between one screen and the next conveys a sense of time and space that makes locales feel bigger
