Every time I make a post about why you shouldn’t donate to the Starvation Army, some fuckin hero always comes out of the fuckin woodwork to make noise about, “Well sweaty maybe the Salvation Army isn’t perfect but at least they’re doing something!”

No.  Listen.

The reason you shouldn’t donate to the Starvation Army is because they are literally not helping.  They do the opposite of help.  That organization is an active source of harm.
