Do not commission

Hey folks, since the holidays are coming up I wanted to let you know a gift you SHOULDNT get for your loved ones or yourself.

DO NOT commission a custom doll from @/voiidpriince (craftsfromthevoids on Etsy) because you will not get it. Here’s the story with photos

I messaged voiid on December 17th of last year (2017) inquiring if it would be possible to get a commission of my boyfriends oc. (sending photos and a description)

he responded saying it wouldn’t be a problem and he most likely wouldn’t make Christmas but would take a week or two (I was fine with this and was prepared to wait longer, two months or so) after confirmation I placed the order

I’ll be putting the rest in a second post as there are a lot of conversation images

About a month later (January 22nd) I sent a message on Etsy inquiring about progress photos (just wanting to see how it was developing) and did not hear back. Two months later I saw a tumblr post of the same doll commissions being advertised, since I had not received a response on Etsy I decided to message on tumblr, following is our text conversation on tumblr, dates included:

Note how a tracking number was never received, while I don’t think voiid set out to scam me on purpose, I believe he bit off more then he could chew which resulted in an unhappy commissioner. As you can see I gave multiple warnings and waited until September until I decided it was the last straw (as he also started ignoring me the last few months). This isn’t a callout post, just a warning (and proof) for others not to get caught up in the same thing

EDIT: looks like I’m not the only unhappy commissioner? First photo from the advertising post, the second is an Etsy review
