More “High Road” Marinette and Salty Ladybug

Saves Lila from an akuma attack. Puts her “safely” at the top of the Eiffel Tower where nobody usually goes. You know, so she can’t get hurt by akuma

Next day Lila talks about how Ladybug kept her safest. How later Ladybug helped her get back down

Adrien: That’s weird, could have sworn the ladyblog reported Ladybug saving kittens around town the rest of the day. Apparently cats really like her

Marinette: how did she get down?

Marinette organising regular counselling sessions with school psychologist and the classmates who cherish Lila so dearly to act as bodyguards for Lila. After all, would hate for her to be akumatised a fourth time. It’s for her own protection

Lila: I just got the newest bag from Audrey Bourgeois’ collection. It was personally sent to me

Marinette: Huh, feathers, I remember when she was into sparkles. Nearly didn’t give Adrien the hat because of that

Chloe: It’s ridiculous but after your hat she got inspired and thought she could do better. Utterly ridiculous. Diamonds are much better.

Never gives out Wayzz and Trixx together. Always does Pollen and one other miraculous. After all, Ladybug wouldn’t want the love birds being distracted and getting hurt

Lila: Alya, could you maybe talk to Marinette for me? I don’t know what I did to upset her but it looks like she’s blocked me on instagram

Alya: I’m sure it’s just a misunderstanding

Marinette shows it was Lila who originally did the block. Creates new account for personal use as the last one was more portfolio type stuff of designs. Likes nearly every post Lila makes. Tags her in posts that she may like. 

One time Marinette even tags Jagged on a Lila photo as Jagged follows both her accounts on insta (plus a few other places, they are mutuals). He says nothing. Likes Marinette’s latest crocodile inspired phone cover.

Lila organises girls’ night with all the girls except Marinette. When asked, Lila says Marinette was “busy at the bakery.” They walk past the stairs/arch where Marinette goes for inspiration and came up with the hat design to find her sitting there sketching.

Lila: She lied to me. She really does hate me. This is so awkward.

Adrien walks up to Marinette wearing a jacket with linked cursive Ms. He poses for her and she examines it carefully, puts a few pins so it can be altered, and messes with his hair a bit. She’s completely in the zone. Snaps a few pics

Adrien sees the girls and waves.

Alix: Marinette how could you lie to Lila to spend time with Adrien? You could have been honest

Marinette: well, I heard you guys were getting together – guess Lila has wrong number as didn’t get a message – so I started working on designs.

Adrien: I heard from Nino Alya was out with a girls night so I texted Marinette to see if she had any more designs. I really liked her hat and as she’s a good friend I thought having a real model may help her out. We then came here so lighting and exposure

Class has school trip to place. Lila manipulates it so Marinette is taking pictures of the class so isn’t in any.

Alya posts pic saying thanks for Marinette for taking great photos.

Adrien posts similar pic but with Lila cropped out.

Marinette turns camera, stands on a table so that she can get a selfie with everyone. Posts the picture where Lila is glaring. Tags everyone except Lila by accident.

Lila reports post for bullying or no consent

Marinette creates a story, does multiple posts where Lila is posing for pictures, a video saying “Lila, I’m recording now”, and tags her in every one. The icing on top comments “so glad we met”

Marinette sighs: Am I the only one getting deja vu?

Chloe: If Marinette was going to steal something it would be from me as she’s close. Not you way in the back

Marinette: Could have sworn I had a pen like the one you’re using Lila (underbreath) I wasn’t the one going around stealing friends

Marinette: On no Lila, looks like your jacket has a tear in it. Let me fix it.

Lila: it’s nothing. Look she’s trying to steal my jacket! It’s so cold in this classroom. She’s trying to give me a cold.

Rose: She’s the best seamstress in the class. She made me the cutest hat.

Mylene: Trust her, she’ll have it fixed quick

Marinette: Hmm, don’t know if I have the right shade of red. Also not sure how warm this will keep you. This feels like polyester and this stitching is kind of messy. Didn’t you say this was from Agreste? Maybe he’ll still have the right shade

Adrien: Looks a bit like a knock off to me

Marinette: Are you sure this is your jacket? I’ve already sewn it up but you may want to check it’s yours. The size seems different. Perhaps you accidentally swapped with someone. After all, would be really sad if you lost a limited edition Agreste jacket

Adrien: There’s nothing limited or Agreste about it
