People are protesting that we must boycott the film Bohemian Rhapsody because, and I quote, “the trailer erases Mercury’s homosexuality by having him flirt with a woman and whitewashes him!” Which is funny, because these people are basically erasing Freddie Mercury’s bisexuality and his relationship with Mary Austin and whitewashing Rami Malek at the same time in order to back their shitty excuse of an argument.

Now, repeat with me:

Freddie Mercury wasn’t gay, he was bisexual. Rami Malek is Egyptian.

Freddie Mercury wasn’t gay, he was

bisexual. Rami Malek is Egyptian.

Freddie Mercury wasn’t gay, he was

bisexual. Rami Malek is Egyptian.

Freddie Mercury wasn’t gay, he was

bisexual. Rami Malek is Egyptian.

This has been a PSA.

*sips coffee* what a beautiful day to remember that asexuality is real and what the A in LGBTQA+ stands for and that they are not straight but a part of the LGBTQA+ community

What a beautiful day to remember that the people who create the “ace people are straight,” the “bi people are straight,” the “trans people are misogynist,” etc. propaganda are trying to tear the queer community apart to make us all easier to pick off so if you’ve fallen for it or spread it yourself, you’re enabling people who want to do harm.

What a beautiful day to remember the Q stands for both Queer and Questioning, and that Queer isn’t a slur and also it’s okay to not really know what you are yet.

This is good tea

What a beautiful day to support your LGBTQA+ brothers and sisters. I love you all, you’re valid no matter where you are in your journey of discovering yourself.

Help a disabled queer person buy food?

This is a post I’d really hoped not to have to make, but my paycheck has been delayed yet again and due to some badly timed bills I now have $50 to my name. It could be 7-10 days until I get my paycheck and until then I’m down to basically nothing.

I need money to pay for some groceries and for parking so I can get to work. I work in a city with very limited street parking that I’m physically unable to use because it tends to be blocks away from work. I have to park in the paid lot near my building, which is $5 a day. I do not live near public transportation and therefore can’t use it to cut down on the expense.

Parking until my paycheck hits will come to at least $30, assuming I get paid the same day I did last month. I also need groceries, because pretty much all I have is ramen and cereal and I need to have something to pack for lunch so I don’t spend $10 a day that I don’t have eating out.

My PayPal is PayPal.me/sixylicious and if there’s interest I can look into getting a cash app.

If I could raise $75 to $100 I would be away from crisis for a while. More would be amazing if that’s possible. I asked my mom for some money but I don’t know how much she can give me because she has her own bills to worry about.

Thank you.
