If you ever get anon hate for posting something, just delete the ask and block the anon and then post like a whole shit ton of the stuff they complained about, because then not only are they refreshing your blog waiting for a response that will never be posted, they’re also having to sit through even more of the stuff they hate.

it’s so hilarious to me that straight women think they are so irresistible to us gay women that we are just waiting to pounce on them as soon as we’re in the same space like nah we can smell your homophobia from miles away you fucking gremlins

ALRIGHT. LISTEN UP.

So recently, I got calls from the phone number, (937) 353-8319. They claim to be a job service, and one of their “employees”, Carrigan, is friends with whoever the call recipient is, and that Carrigan has recommended you for this $15.00/h “job”. I also got a text message from (937) 607-1493, claiming to be Carrigan, and that they need stuff to “win a scholarship”. I do not know anyone by the name of Carrigan and I know very well that this is a very dangerous scam.
If you receive a call from a number, and they ask you if you would like a job for $15.00/h, HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. If you accept the “job” offer, and you go in for an interview, they will give you a drugged bottle of water and you will wake up somewhere you don’t want to be.
These phone calls & texts are from a human trafficking service, and if you oblige to them, you will be sold to people and you will be raped, no doubt about it. So PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS OR TEXTS. I have listened to the voicemails, and allowed my dad to do the same, and he learned that anyone offering a $15.00/h “job” is a human trafficker.
PLEASE SIGNAL BOOST THIS ALL OVER TUMBLR

Okay, I am reblogging this because it is relevant again. I got another call from a 353 number. Not the exact same number, but I know that it is a trafficker because it’s 353 just like the last one. I also want this to signal boost so PLEASE REBLOG THIS.

Why are people deleting the captions though I had to search for what the pictures meant don’t do that

a side note,  because theyre very popular around the DMV, If you ever see a sign with something akin to ‘free debt erasure’ ‘15/h job’ etc and ONLY A PHONE NUMBER, ignore it. tear it down if you can, because those are well known scams and sex-trafficking baits.do not, by any means, call or respond to these messages. do not let your friends do it. do not.

THIS IS IMPORTANT AF THANK Y’ALL HOLY SHIT

Oklahoma is one of the worst states as far as human trafficking, so thank y’all so fucking much. That’s literally my life and the lives of everyone I know that y’all just saved. Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you

*FUCKING SPAMS REBLOG*

in 1994 when green day first became famous, they invited pansy division, an openly gay punk band, to open for them for the entire dookie tour knowing full well the responses would be mixed. in 2016/2017, on their revolution radio tour, green day chose only female led punk bands to open for them to help create recognition for these artists in a male dominated scene. this band has always been using their voices for the right reasons and i love them so much for that.

And Against Me! Is opening for them too! A band fronted by a trans woman! Fuck yeah Green Day

If I’m not mistaken, there was a prom somewhere that was cancelled one time because a lesbian couple wanted to go, so Green Day rented a venue and had a prom for them. Not sure about accuracy, my mom told me about that

yes this is true as well!! green day helped to fund and organize this second prom when the first one was cancelled. the second prom was actually open not only to the students of the school, but also to any other lgbtq+ students as well as supporters in the state of mississippi who wanted to attend as well!!

Billy Joe Armstrong once literally leapt into the crowd at Green Day show and drop-kicked a guy who wouldn’t leave a girl alone.

This exemplifies how do to representation right. Being a straight ally doesn’t mean creating things for LGBT+ people. Its about giving those who are already creating a better stage.

He’s not a “straight ally” he’s bisexual.

White people need to stop writing middle eastern or muslim women as needing the help of white men to save them from their abusive husband, to save their lost or kidnapped child, or to just be there as someone who shows gratitude to the white man who is cleeeeeearly more superior than her muslim husband or her muslim/midde eastern country

And if I have to explain why they shouldn’t do that then I feel sorry.

hot take: the answer to the Bury Your Gays trope does not automatically have to be only having the purest, softest coffee shop au kind of queer media and only the most uwuified queer characters. we can have dark queer media, queer media in the suspense and crime and horror and any other genres, morally grey and morally bankrupt (or at least not one-dimensionally heroic) queer characters — all without killing off every queer character that shows up in the media in question for no damn reason.

queer characters don’t have to all remain saints in G-rated comedies in order to stay alive in their media or to be worthwhile to the people viewing that media.

#also wanna add that like#i don’t believe you can NEVER EVER have a queer character die in media#(especially if the creator is queer)#but.#if that’s the ONLY story queer characters get in your media#then you have a problem#if you have one gay character in your story and they die#(especially to further het angst or show how sad it is 2 b gay)#then you have a fucking problem#but if you have a story full of queer characters#some of whom get happy endings#all of whom have strong stories#and a gay character dies#the playing field is a bit different#you can go dark and sad if dark and sad isn’t the only queer story you have to offer#file under: things i have too many thoughts about#etc
