How it should have gone

Marinette: “So you’re asking me to just sit back and let Lila deceive our entire class? Lila’s not going to stop lying if we just keep letting her get away with it.”

Adrien: “Probably not, but if you go over there right now and point out that it was Lila’s other ear, she’ll just cover it with another lie, and will probably try to make you look bad again.”

Marinette: “… she did say that she’d get the entire class to hate me.”

Adrien: “She can try, but it won’t work on me. Besides, it’s hard for someone to keep just one lie going for a period of time. Imagine Lila trying to keep head and tail of all her stories from the time school begins until it ends. She’ll either learn to be honest, crack from the pressure, or slip up so badly that everyone will notice. We’re not letting her get away with this; we’re letting her decide whether to dig her own grave, and how deep she wants it to be.”

I hope after what happened in Chameleon, we’ll get an episode where Lila claims to be Rena Rouge. Like

Lila: “I can’t lie to you all anymore. I am actually Rena Rouge. Ladybug chose me because we’re such good friends.”

Alya and Nino: “What!? You’re lying! You’re not Rena Rouge!”

Lila: “What? How can you say that?! Why wouldn’t Ladybug pick her best friend to be her fellow hero?”

Alya: “Why would admit it? What happened to secret identity?”

Lila: “Well, I trust all of you guys so much! I know you’ll keep it a secret, and protect me, like you do with Chloe.”

Nino: “But weren’t you abroad while Rena Rouge was saving Paris?”

Lila: “One of Rena Rouge’s powers is teleportation of course.”

Alya and Nino go over to Marinette.

Alya: “Okay, I’m sorry, you were right; she’s a liar.”

Marinette: “I don’t know Alya. Do you have any proof she’s lying? A good reporter always verify their source

You do know that Marinette could have dropped the “Adrien is already in love” bomb, right?

But wait! …if Lila finds out… sure, Kagami could easily kick her ass, but her weakness seems to be her reputation… and Lila can… and Kagami will…

…my sweet…

*grabs a hold of every ML writer’s collars*

Kagami would drag Lila’s bullshit out first chance she gets. I seriously doubt Lila is any threat to Kagami, and I would love to see Kagami verbally annilate Lila

Miraculous Ladybug S03 E01 Chameleon teaches children a shit lesson.

bitvin:

Miraculous Ladybug S03 E01 teaches a really crappy lesson to children.
Here’s the ENTIRE episode so you can watch it for yourself. https://youtu.be/wn2Lx4Rwb1U For the most part, it was good, up until the point where Adrien convinces Marinette to let Lila go and continue lying.
I’m sorry, but that’s a really terrible lesson to be teaching to children, especially considering MLB’s target demographic. No, you do not just let someone off scott-free with lying. What Marinette’s been doing–handling the issue aggressively–is also wrong, but just sitting around and letting Lila continue to lie and manipulate the people around her is also wrong. It’s very, very wrong. It’s a terrible lesson to teach children.
At the very least, I GENUINELY expected Marinette or Adrien to offer to stand by Lila and keep her in check.
But I hear you: “Oh! But Lila doesn’t want to change. There’s no convincing her or talking sense into her.” But is that really an excuse to let her keep lying? I don’t think so. Yeah, she has a really thick skull–some people ARE like that in real life. But that doesn’t mean we should just let them continue what they’re doing just because they’re difficult to deal with. We don’t just give up, especially if they’re manipulating people around them and spreading BS about themselves and other people.
tl;dr, MLB has its first serious dud with me with this lesson. A terrible, terrible thing to teach to impressionable children.

IS BEING HYDRATED REALLY WORTH ALL THIS PEEING?

Hi friend! Fun fact! The human body can only absorb one liter of water per hour, and not all at once! Likely the reason you’re peeing so much is because you’re taking in too much water at a time, so your body just flushes it through your system as opposed to absorbing it. A good rule is ¼ liter every 15 minutes. Don’t get me wrong, there are definitely times that I want to (and will) glug a whole liter like it’s nothing, but steady hydration throughout the day is key! -Your friendly local wilderness first responder who rehydrates people for their job 🙂
