Hank brings Sumo to a dog stylist to get him a haircut since his fur has grown pretty long and its getting in the way of everything. There he meets pet stylist android Connor who immediately falls in love with the big guy (and Sumo of course). Hank feels like he has adopted a new puppy immediately when he looks into those brown eyes.

However in this case adults are becoming digimon trainers because they are in need of someone to help them just as much as their partner needs them.
Hank and Gavins digi devices are formed by items that are symbolic of both personal problems (Hank wanting it all to end and Gavin using cigs to escape)
Connor and RK900′s trainee names i gave them (800,900) gave me an idea of how these two will evolve into.
((Happyaku (800) sounds a lot like “happy aku[ma]” (happy demon) while Kyuuhyaku (900) reminds me of kyuubi (the classification of the nine tailed fox in Naruto) leading up to “fox demon”.))
