So here’s something silly I thought up because I love when animal legends, animal symbolism, and fables.
Going off of the assumption that the boy is Master Fu and the man is a notable person we have yet to learn about (good or bad), we don’t know if the object in that flashback was a Miraculous or something else. Whether Fu used it or not, I think it would be interesting if it was the Rabbit Miraculous because of what it could represent for Master Fu in relation to “The Tortoise and the Hare.”
Like the hare of the fable, Fu was overconfident and prideful, and because of this, he made a reckless and detrimental mistake involving the Rabbit Miraculous that ended the Order of the Guardians, destroyed their temple, and resulted in the loss of the spellbook and two Miraculouses.
Years later, Fu is wiser, having more patience and knowledge of the world. He hasn’t lost his determination, but he is much more thoughtful about his plans and actions, strategically dealing with the situation with Hawk Moth by giving Miraculouses to Ladybug and Cat Noir, working to find superpower advantages in the spellbook despite his limited teachings about the code, and even eventually choosing (or helping Marinette choose, depending on what actually happens) new part-time superheroes. He is a lot more like the tortoise of the fable now, which lines up with him owning the Turtle Miraculous in his later years.
I don’t know how many clever animal connections and references will be within the show. So far, the main obvious connection are ladybugs and black cats, representing good luck and bad luck respectively, and the twelve Miraculouses based on the Chinese zodiac animals, the dragon included. I wouldn’t mind – really, I’d be all for it – if more symbolism and legend/fable/etc. references were used when looking into the relations that can happen coincidentally or intentionally between two or more Miraculouses. I do think that Master Fu making a mistake with the Rabbit Miraculous involved and evolving into the wise man who used the Turtle Miraculous would make an interesting resemblance to the story and themes of “The Tortoise and the Hare.”

Who could Le Paon be?
So I’ve seen a lot of fans think about this, and so far, most peoble seem to think it’s either Nathalie, Adrien’s mom, or the newest theory Kagami’s mom. I found a pic of Le Paon and drew around her features. Let’s see:

(This was the best pic I could find)
She seems to have slanted eyes, a small nose (although it’s hard to see clearly), round but small lips, and a round face.
Now, let’s see Nathalie:

The nose could potentially match, but it is hard to tell due to the difference in angle. The mouth seems to be a little too big, her eyes have the wrong shape, and her face is too square compared to Le Paon.
Now Mrs. Agreste:

The eyes look perfect compared to Le Paon, her mouth seems similar, but it’s hard to tell since Le Paon is frowning, while Mrs. Agreste is smiling. The nose however seems to thin, and her chin is longer and sharper than Le Paon.
Now, since we don’t have a picture of Kagami’s mother, let’s use Kagami for reference:

Kagami is definitely the one who looks the most like Le Paon. Sure her face is a little rounder, but that might be due to Kagami being younger. Also, Kagami’s fencing outfit has the same sweater-like collar that Le Paon has. I think it’s safe to say, that if Kagami looks like her mother, her mother might be Le Paon
