I would love if this became a thing! Like, we already know that Gabriel thinks Marinette is a great designer, he’s probably super grateful for her for bringing back the Miraculous Book to him, not to mention he most likely caught on to her crush on his son when she did.

So, what if Gabriel took a liking to Marinette? Maybe trying to take her as an apprentice. Audrey even said that Marinette’s design reminds her of Gabriel, so maybe he even sees a bit of himself in her. What if, whether he takes her as an apprentice or not, he tries to groom her into the perfect akuma victim?

I just think it would be a super cool dynamic, to not only have the father of Marinette’s crush, but also the main villain of the show, target her in such a way

When I first saw that Lila was sitting next to Adrien, I thought maybe Lila had used one of her lies on Nino to get him away from school for the day, like saying there was an akuma attack, so class was cancelled.

And I hoped this would result in Nino learning about Lila’s lies when he gets in trouble for skipping class, and so Marinette would at least have one of her friends on her side against Lila. Even Adrien, who knows Lila is untrustworthy, takes seems to take her side over Marinette’s.

I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle an entire season of the class being against Marinette and believing Lila without question. I hope her lies come to light, at least to Alya if no one else, by the end of the episode.

If I’ve learned anything from the Miraculous Ladybug trailers this:

Is just a red herring. Remember when the trailer for Dark Owl hit, and everyone thought Ladybug and Chat Noir would reveal their identities. Or when the trailer for Frozer hit and we thought Chat Noir would reveal his identity?

This is either a dream/fantasy sequence, or Marinette almost gets akumatized, like what happened in Zombizou.

I think she’s frustrated with how Lila is manipulating the entire class, and maybe she tried to prove to everyone that Lila’s a liar, and Lila turned the class on her. So she’s either in the bathroom to calm down, or she’s sitting in there crying.

I could see this going either with Marinette remembering the breathing exersizes that Miss Bustier taught the class, and so the akuma moves on to Lila, since she seems to get akumatized in the episode, and it’ll probably have something to do with either Marinette or Adrien calling her out on her lies).

Or Lila will see the akuma and actively seek out getting akumatized (judging from the season 2 finale, she seems to like getting akumatized), and I have this image of Lila breaking into Marinette’s stall and just grabbing the akuma herself and shoving it into something (I doubt this will happen since I don’t think it’s actually possible, plus Lila gets akumatized outside, I just thought it was a fun idea)
