I honestly hate Audrey Bourgeois from what we’ve saw. And not in the way I hate Chloe, because Chloe’s just a spoiled kid and she can grow up and get better.
But Audrey… She encourages Chloe’s behavior, criticizes her husband for being rational, she walked out on her family and has the nerve to tell Andre how to parent?
Absolute garbage human being.
From the clip I saw, it also seems like Chloe’s awful behavior started because she emulated her mother. When Chloe was a child, her mother was probably like a hero to her; the famous and succesful fashion, strong and independent, demanding everybody’s respect. It’s hard not to hate Audrey Bourgeois when it’s clearly her fault Chloe turned out the way she did
@neyla9 replied to your post “Speculation/Headcanon: Butterfly Miraculous Countdown Power”
I think the Butterfly Miraculous’s power is the akumatization. I just think the countdown first begin once the akuma has been defeated and purified. I think Chat’s cataclysm also first starts the countdown once he has touched something, rather than when he first activates it.
That’s a possibility but wouldn’t that provide the Butterfly Miraculous an advantage that the other Miraculouses don’t have? Even if Cataclysm has a delayed countdown (and I don’t think it does, I think it’s more a case of the show engaging in this trope), it’s a disadvantage to get around with that active, and it wouldn’t remain if you had to detransform. And Lucky Charm and Mirage have no such delays possible (because what reliably constitutes when the object has first been “used”?).
Also, I presume the countdown occurs because the power drains energy from the kwami (in-universe reason, obviously the out of universe reason is to provide limitation on their powers and allow for ‘race against time’ tenseness), and if that’s the reason, I would think that the energy use comes with the initial activation. I mean it is magic, it can work in weird ways – but it makes the most sense to me that energy would be expended at the beginning rather than at the end. Especially since the powers aren’t supposed to be used in a way that they would require release and purification.
I agree, there are a lot of holes in my theory, but I just don’t think the Butterfly miraculous would have two powers (the akumatization and teleportation) when all the other miraculous we’ve seen thus far only have one.
It does seem weird, but I think if you look at it in a sort of cosmic balance way, that it is when the energy needed for the special power disappears, then the countdown begins. Like, the energy used to create the akuma is still connected to the Butterfly miraculous, due to Hawk Moth’s own connection to his victim, and so the miraculous hasn’t “let go” of the energy yet. In the case of heroic users of the Butterfly miraculous, I think once the mission is over, the Butterfly holder “releases” the person they gave powers, thus releasing the energy back into the cosmos.
I admit, I’m pulling at straws, but the fact is we just don’t know a lot about the Butterfly miraculous or how it’s supposed to work for a heroic holder.
In the Syren episode we see that Max tells Kim off for being late and seems very unimpressed later on when Kim is messing around in flooded Paris, similar to in the Timebreaker episode when Max appeared annoyed at Kim being a goofball. However, Max is also the only one to be visibly concerned/distressed when Kim got kidnapped by Syren, even calling out after him, suggesting that he is in fact mildly tsundere about his feelings for Kim. In this essay I will
Considering that it now seems that Le Paon was only a beta name, for lack of a better word, and Mayura is the Peacock holder’s actual villain name, it’s worth noting that “Mayura” is Bengali, which is one of the many languages spoken in India. It would then make sense for Mayura to be someone of Indian descent, and we haven’t really encountered anyone who fits that bill.
Therefore, I think there’s a chance that Mayura is going to be someone completely new. Also, Mayura being Indian fits the problem I mentioned in a previous theory, concerning her skin color:

I talked about how Miraculous don’t change their wielder’s skin color, unless it holds some kind of significance to the wilelder. And guess what? In Hinduism, which is one of the religion most common in the Bengal region of India, and there are several Gods in Hinduism with blue skin. The one I want to most focus on is Krishna:

Who is often depicted wearing peacock feathers.
So what could the skin color mean if Mayura is Bengali? Probably that she sees herself as a god, which would also fit with her having the Peacock Miraculous, since peacocks are often associated with pride and vanity.
Queen’s Battle Theory
This is building on my Queen Wasp theory. So it might be a good idea to read that one first.
According to new info about the Queen’s Battle trilogy, Style Queen will be Chloe’s mother, who gets humiliated because of Gabriel Agreste. Considering that Chloe’s mother definitely seems to have known, and possibly even been close to, Adrien’s mom, the cause of the humiliation might be related to that, or it might just be something petty.
Since Alya was first given the Fox Miraculous when her siblings were akumatized, it makes sense for Chloe to be given her miraculous in this episode as well. It might be Adrien, Marinette, or both of them, who decides to give Chloe the miraculous.
If Adrien, because he knows there’s something good inside Chloe and hopes being a superhero will help her bring it out.
If Marinette, because after Zombizou, Marinette knows that Chloe isn’t beyond redemption, and since it’s Chloe’s mother, Marinette might find it fitting.
While it could be hard for both Adrien and Marinette to give Chloe the miraculous together, since it could possibly reveal that either of them know Chloe personally, if Chloe is there during the initial fighting and is trying to help, like she did in Despair Bear, it might give either Adrien or Marinette the idea to give Chloe a miraculous. I could imagine Marinette protesting, but eventually relenting as she’s reminded that she should give Chloe a chance.
Maybe Chloe even has specific knowledge about her mother that may help defeat her.
According to the Queen Wasp summary, we know that Chloe is going to keep the miraculous and will try to transform to impress her mother.
(The summary does say that Chloe will be akumatized into Queen Wasp
after transforming into Queen Bee to impress her mother, but that might
be a slight error in the summary. Either that, or I’m way off, I’ll be
the first to admit that, but I’ll keep basing this off of my Queen Wasp theory)
Like I said in my Queen Wasp theory, I think Chloe will refuse to return the miraculous, not out of spite, but because of her abandonment issues. We already saw how difficult it was for Alya to return her miraculous, and Chloe, having been abandoned and forgotten by her mother, will probably not want to return hers, feeling like she’s being abandoned all over again.
I can imagine that she’ll try to play it off like she isn’t actually emotionally affected by the idea of returning her miraculous, and that she just wants to keep it because, “Why shouldn’t I have it? I mean, I’m me. You wouldn’t have been able to win without me, so obviously I deserve this miraculous,” and she’ll most likely run home and activate a security system so that Marinette and Adrien can’t get to her and get the miraculous back.
In the next episode, Queen Wasp, we will see Pollen be angry or sad that Chloe won’t return the miraculous, with Chloe being very dismissive about Pollen’s feelings, leading to Pollen being akumatized. Chloe won’t notice Pollen’s akumatization, probably because she doesn’t know enough about Pollen or kwamis.
I imagine that Chloe’s mother is also very dismissive of Chloe and her feelings, and is generally unimpressed with her daughter, so, I think after Pollen has been akumatized, Chloe will try to transform in front of her mother, to show her “Hey! Look mom! I’m a superhero! I was one of the superheroes who saved you!” but Pollen’s akumatization causes Chloe to be transformed into Queen Wasp instead. One reason I think that Pollen is the one getting akumatized instead of Chloe is that I don’t think Miraculous Holders can be akumatized when they’re transformed, but my biggest reason for thinking that it’s Pollen is this:

It’s hard to see due to the image compression, but Queen Wasp has blue sclera and golden iris

Just like Pollen.
Queen Wasp’s skintone is also the same as Pollen’s.
So, I think Chloe will, due to the akumatized Pollen, transform into Queen Wasp, and I think Queen Wasp’s more Pollen-like design will indicate that the akumatized Pollen is the one in control.
Chloe’s mother is horrified to see her daughter transform into a super villain, Ladybug and Chat Noir shows up and saves the day, etc.
Then, to tie it all up into the last episode of the trilogy, where Chloe’s dad becomes akumatized, I think Chloe’s mother will be chewing him out (judging from the Frigtningale episode, Chloe’s dad is terrified of Chloe’s mom, and there has to be a reason for that). Either this will cause Chloe’s dad to become akumatized, or, after seeing her daughter transform into a super villain, Chloe’s mom will talk badly about her daughter to her husband, and this will finally cause Chloe’s dad to argue back with her, because she can drag him down all she wants, but she does not talk bad about their daughter! And this anger then leads to him becoming akumatized. Bonus points if Chloe sees her mom talk horribly about her and her dad defending her.
After Chloe’s dad is akumatized, Chloe gets a chance to help stop him and redeem herself, after which she willingly returns the miraculous, maybe adding something along the lines of: “I don’t deserve this after what I did.” And I think Marinette will be the one to tell Chloe that they’ll bring it back to her if they ever need her again, after which Chloe will quickly recover and say something like “Well, of course you’re gonna need my help again!”
Nathalie Is The Worst
I know we all like to headcanon Nathalie as a pseudo-mom for Adrien, but on rewatching the series, she’s kind of terrible.
-her last name, Sancoeur, literally means “Heartless”, and we all know how names have serious meanings in this show
-She knows Gabriel is Hawkmoth and is just. totally cool with that.
-She defers to Gabriel over Adrien’s needs most of the time. She has her moments but she’s not allowing him much freedom. Just enough to keep him satisfied. Prisoners with some privileges are much more compliant, but are still prisoners.
-She literally fucking stole a birthday gift that a 13 year old girl poured her heart into, because she forgot Adrien’s birthday. it’s been fairly well established that adults who forget birthdays are not generally good people–like Chloe’s mom or Gabriel (except Gabriel actually did remember and reminded Nathalie)
In short, Nathalie is not a worthwhile parental figure. I wouldn’t be surprised if Adrien loves her anyways since she outwardly shows more care than his father does. But if you’re going to be talking about one of the staff being a better parent to Adrien? It’s the Gorilla. He genuinely cares for Adrien and doesn’t get enough love from this fandom.
Marichat May Day 19+ Day 22: I made you a mask to wear out of the suit+Mari and Plagg Interactions
Adrien is happy to see that two of the best people in his life are getting along well.
(Yes, Marinette made the hoodie and the mask when Chat one day broke through her window midly detransforming cause he needed to use the bathroom. The ears? Well, that was more for her than for him xD)
As promised! I’m sorry it took so long, I’ve been crazy busy but now that I’m focusing on art I’m going to do my best to get this out more frequently 🙂
