I misread Marinette’s superhero name as “Multimouse” and started theorizing that maybe the Rat Miraculous’ power is to make copies of yourself (kinda linked to how quickly rats and mice repoduce), but then it turned out it’s “Mulmouse”

The kwami is called “Mullo”, which seems to be in reference to “mulot”, the french word for “field mouse”, so that’s probably where Marinette got the name idea (kinda like how Chat Noir’s name in the english dub is “Cat Noir”, mixing english and french together)

Still, we’re not any closer to figuring out what the Rat Miraculous’ power could be, but on a side note, in the Chinese Zodiac, rats are considered symbolic of success, ambition, kindness, and resourcefulness, all of which suits Marinette pretty well.

I want Marinette to get the Miraculous because the other members of Team Miraculous (excluding Chloe maybe) suggest giving one to Marinette since she would be such an amazing super hero, or because Ladybug gives the task of finding holders of some of the Miraculous to Chat Noir, and he decides to hand the first one to Marinette.

Or maybe you could kinda combine the two, and have Ladybug wanting to give the Miraculous to Adrien, who says something like “Oh, I wouldn’t make a good hero! I’m too busy with my schedule. You know who you really should give that Miraculous to? My great friend, Marinette! She would make the perfect superhero! She’s so kind and smart and helpful!”

And then, now that it seems like Adrien’s going to think that Marinette has a crush on Chat Noir, it could make for some interesting dynamics with Chat Noir knowing that Mulmouse is Marinette, but Marinette not knowing that Chat knows, and it’ll give Chat a chance to see the Ladybug side of Marinette and realize that he has feelings for her!

The fact that nino is so inspired by chat noir and ladybug, I feel like people always forget that nino use to be the kid in the back of the class who never talked to anyone and just listened to music in class, but chat noir and ladybug inspired him so much, and I thought it was cute that they brought that up

The fact that Marinette and adrien are making the exact same face, they really are meant to be

Ok first of all I’m bad with writing actual theories so take this half assed one haha

Now, I’ve been hearing a lot about how the concept art for Mayura/Le Paon (Yes, i know we’ve all seen it but just in case)

is actually Emilie, which makes a lot of sense, I mean, just look at her eyes there’s no way that’s actually Nathalie, her face is very similiar to Emilie considering how sharp and “classy” her face traits are. 

So one thing that caught my attention about this theory is that the Miraculous suits are supposed to change between miraculous holders, yet there’s barely a change between their suits??? LIke honestly they are practically the same

Both have the same hairstyle, wear high necks and long sleeves, same “mask” (More like face makeup tbh)

SO what am I trying to say with all this??

That’s not how the miraculous suits are supposed to work, we’ve seen with the past ladybug suits, every suit is completely different and changes drastically from the other so why are these two so similar? WELL that’s because the miraculous holder gets a suit however they like it (Marinette got a practical suit, Chloe got a fancy suit, Chat got a weeaboo suit) and that’s what Nathalie wanted, to look as similar to Emilie as she could.

So another thing is that I’m not sure what she’s trying to do helping Gabriel bring her wife back, because if she loves him she wouldn’t do that? Like I can’t see Nathalie as the type of person that would be like “oh but as long as if he’s happy uwu” (And if that was the case I think she would rather make him realise how we can’t bring people back from death and  try to get him out of this delusive unhealthy obsession lol) Plus, since she clearly has some crush thing with Gabriel, if they really brought Emilie back, her being in between the marriage just wouldn’t be good for anyone?? She just would be the assistant™

HOWEVER, going back to how their outfits were similiar, it made me realise that what if nathalie is planning to use the chat and ladybug miraculous wish for herself? What if she’s doing it to look and be Emilie, to replace her (Except she wouldnt be dead lol), I mean, we were told that Mayura was going to be like a boss for Hawkmoth, like some kind of super evil villain so there’s definetely got to be some twist to her character, (and from what we’ve seen she’s still the sidekick assistant (Now with asthma!!))

So idk, I hope this isn’t too weird or badly written (English isn’t my first language and this is my first time writing a theory like this hh)
