Scrapped comic concept: Sombra deconstructing the inherent failures of an imperialist, undemocratic global military force steeped in 6 feet of bitchy drama disguised as
bureaucratic infighting that 100% earned its bullet and better not fuckin come back.Â
Sombra just stickin legs out in front of authoritarian power hustlers lets go
Since the story is told from McCree’s point of view years after it happened, maybe he remembers it wrong? Or maybe McCree was the one who shot the guy, but Gabriel took the fall to protect McCree?
If McCree shot Vincent instead of Gabriel, then not only would it have given the characters their actual respective personalities and backgrounds, but it would also make the backlash that Gabriel gets as a bit more tragic because most of the mission was Gabriel berating and arguing with McCree because he thought that he was able to help the kid get over it
But then McCree went and shot Vincent, because he reminded him too much of people from the Deadlock gang and Gabriel is angry because he didn’t act fast enough to stop McCree, that McCree acted rashly, and that he can’t blame McCree either because of the fact that… fuck. Deadlock treated McCree like SHIT.
It would have been far more satisfying than Gabriel shooting a guy and then him and McCree having some sort of odd personality switch during the mission??
