Im predicting WD is straight up evil, and has something to do with her Pearl’s scarring.
Please, god forbid, dont tag as any kinda ship name between them! The imagery itself is implied abuse – this is a dark theory, not something that should romanticized. Just a disclaimer…
she is the first diamond, and gems–diamonds included–are made. then what the hell made her? someone? no one? would she even be a gem?
“she’s not like us. she isn’t even like them!” a direct confirmation. she isn’t like gems, and she isn’t like the diamonds, then what IS she like?
she’s a literal celestial light and/or pure burning energy–gems have concentrated physical forms, and yes, they are made of light–but it’s light that is contained and regulated. white diamond seems like she is out of control, almost like there’s too much of her for any other being to handle–and the scope of her power seems as if, either accidentally or purposefully, it’s literally torn homeworld apart.
again, she isn’t like a gem, and gems come from the ground–diamonds too. she probably didn’t emerge from a planet like every other gem. where else could she have come from? ah yes, space.
Since everything in this show is foreshadowing I’m going to take a bold guess and say that white diamond is going to attempt to remove Stevens gem and Force pink diamond to reform.
Because it’s clear White was ignoring steven, and most likely talking to his gem.
HOW IS EVERYONE SLEEPING ON THE FACT THAT GARNET USED HER FUTURE VISION WHEN GREG ASKED “SHOULD I BE WORRIED”, AND SPECIFICALLY SAID “STEVEN WILL BE FINE” NOT WE WILL BE FINE, NO! STEVEN WILL BE FINE! AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, SHE GIVES GREG HER CAT! GARNET IS IN DANGER!!!!!!!
I don’t think Garnet used her future vision. I think her comment was meant to mean that Steven will be fine because she knows the Diamonds wouldn’t hurt Pink Diamond, while the rest of them are traitors to Homeworld, so she can’t be sure what will happen to them.
Stevn, the question you should be asking is how is there a crowd here?
Blue and Yellow didn’t call ahead. Nobody should be expecting Pink Diamond to return to homeworld. So how did they know to show up here? It’s got to be White. How did she know to set up a welcoming party?
I suspect White had one of her Sapphires predict. White seemed to already know that Pink wasn’t dead, judging from how she reacts to Steven, so if she relayed that information to her Sapphires, they should have been able to predict it, especially if White knew that Blue and Yellow were travelling to Earth.
