I’ve read this before, but it’s just so refreshing.
Just as a note: the initial inspiration for the Wonder Woman costume was indeed fetish wear.
The bustier and the lasso were BDSM accessories, and the author, his wife and their girlfriend were all BDSM practitioners.
I don’t deny that the subsequent versions jumped on the band and rolled with the overly sexualized outfit, but it’s not a coincidence it was created like that in the first place.
