Someone literally threatened to shoot up my school over stupid cartoon discourse today. There are classes for young kids on campus during this time. Campus had to be shut down, and I was panicking for close to an hour wondering if my friends near or on campus were okay, since I couldn’t make any calls during work.

Every single grown-ass adult screaming at content creators because of ‘c*l*rts style’ can shut the fuck up forever. You don’t get to be entitled to children’s media and threaten violence over it. I’m so sick of this.

I know everyone who was so outspoken on having the right to harass creators over style discourse will ignore this so I’ll reblog this to remind everyone that I’m very tired of it!

LISTEN. The reason they did that is because this EXACT threat was done online once on 4Chan the day before they actually shot up the school they named. 

So yeah, they’re taking your meme based off an actual mass shooting threat that happened before an actual mass shooting seriously. 

Also to add: THERE WERE CHILDREN TAKING SUMMER CLASSES ON THE CAMPUS. The school is an open campus which means there’s 24 hour security guards. They’re not going to gamble on someone taking a photo of bullet holes in a target when there are actual children on campus. They’re not going to see those words as a meme. They’re going to see them as a threat of a copycat crime.
